"The larger the size, the more important it is to show how the product fits women of all sizes. 'One tactic is to photograph the pieces on models of different body types,' comments Laryssa Camargo, from the marketing team of the Rio-based brand Garimppo. The brand, created by Carolina Mazza, which began sourcing pieces throughout Brazil, today has 70% of its production carried out internationally. The jeans are made by the company itself, sold online, and account for 20% of the brand's sales. 'Our main driver is Instagram,' says Camargo. 'It has become our biggest shop window.' The brand also has three physical stores in Rio but is far more successful online."
